The world Polio day was celebrated by a Polio awareness seminar at Mazhar Muslim Model Higher Secondary School Ranipur District Khairpur. A Polio walk was also conducted to spread awareness about the disease and how it can be prevented through vaccination. The events were lead by Deputy Commissioner Khairpur Mr. Ahmed Ali Qureshi and DHO Khairpur Dr. Muhammad Hussain Abro with tremendous support of DEOC Team especially Polio Eradication Officer WHO Dr. Suhail Ahmed Majidano. The event was organised by Lady Health Worker Program lead District Khairpur Dr. Imtiaz Wassan and supported by District Manager PPHI-B Mr. Arif Abbasi, DM IHS Mir Ghulam Abid. After the seminar and Polio awareness walk, Deputy Commissioner Khairpur with his team inaugurated SNID October 2020 at RHC Ranipur by administering 2 drops of Oral Polio Vaccine to 3 beautiful under 5 children.
