To commemorate World Polio Day on 24th October 2020, Awareness Seminar was held under auspices of Rotary Club Quetta Cosmopolitan under guidance of Rtn Saleem Raza, Zonal Coordinator Baluchistan.

Strict SOPs for Covid 19 were followed. The event was attended by members of civil society and Ulema students. Social mobilization material was distributed to participants before the start of the program. Proceedings started with recitation from the Holy Quran.

Rtn. Saleem Raza highlighted the role of Rotary in the eradication of Polio worldwide and its necessity for erasing this crippling from Pakistan which is only left with this menace along with Afghanistan. Rotarians namely, Rtn. Dr. Ruquia Hasdhmi, Rtn. Jain Jamaldini, Rtn Mirza Abbas, Maulvi Malik Siddique Sahib, frontline worker Dr. Ali also spoke on polio and it’s prevention.
