Minutes of the Meeting:

1. The Zonal Coordinator Sindh PP Masood Bhalli initiated the program with Tilawat, followed by National Chair Aziz Memon welcoming the participants.
2. Minutes of the last meeting were circulated to all members.
3. The committee reviewed and approved the decisions taken in the previous meeting.
4. National Chair Aziz Memon informed the committee members that the next Karachi Provincial Task Force Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 19^th March 2019 at 3 pm at Office of the Commissioner Karachi and will be chaired by Commissioner Karachi.
5. PP Masood Bhalli informed that PTPs in Sindh are functioning well and are being monitored on regular basis.
6. Two PTP shelters which were requested by EOC Balochistan have been installed at Shah Noorani - Lasbella and Jhal Magsi.
7. It was informed by National Chair that Project Manager Asher Ali made a plan for PTP monitoring in Sindh and has visited the sites.
8. The PTP shelter at Umrani Laro, Jaccobabad needs to be replaced at the level of the main road and requires repair and paint work. Rtn. Muhammad Afzal from Jaccobabad has visited the site and has informed us about the current situation of the shelter. He will be coordinating with Project Manager Asher Ali to repair the PTP and he will share a quotation shortly for the repair work which is to be done. (Action: Asher)
9.  PP Masood Bhalli and Asher Ali had a meeting with Dr. Farhaj WHO (in charge of PTPs in Sindh) to discuss the status of PTP shelters in Sindh.
10. Asher Ali confirmed that he knows the locations where the ILRs are installed and he will make a plan to visit on his return from Islamabad.
11. National Chair suggested to PP Masood Bhalli to meet with EOC Coordinator Sindh to determine high rise buildings in posh areas where Teams have had difficulties approaching these areas with OPV and IPV.

Once the meeting is held then a plan will be made by PNPPC to establish a Team Support Center. However, Zonal Coordinator said that one TSC will not be sufficient to cover all posh areas and suggested that the Government revisit the action plan and depute mobile teams in posh areas. To this the National Chair suggested that a meeting between EOC Coordinator Sindh, PP Masood Bhalli, DG Irfan and himself should meet on a one point agenda that is to resolve the issues of vaccination in posh areas.

12. In principle it was approved to make a documentary on UC 9 SITE Town Resource Center after the work on the school and center are complete. DG Irfan Qureshi suggested that we should start with a story board before the documentary is made.
13. National Chair informed the members that a meeting was held with Dr. Salah Tumsah and DG Irfan to discuss the Gujor Development Plan. He also said that Dr. Salah Tumsah has been deputed by WHO as a consulted specially to look after the Gujro project in Gadap UC 4 which is known as the polio reservoir in Karachi’s most challenging district. Rotary has also installed two Solar Water Filtration Plants atJannat Gul Hospital & Jamali Goth, Gadap UC 4.
14. All Solar Water Filtration Plants (8 nos) installed in Sindh were visited  by Project Manager Asher Ali during the quarter.
15. Review Meetings  were held in all 6 Resource Centers of Karachi with PP Masood Bhalli and Asher Ali.
16. DG Irfan called the Commissioner Hyderabad during the meeting and asked him to call a meeting on the positive environment samples found in Hyderabad. The meeting in Hyderabad will be scheduled next week, date to be given by DG. National Chair, PP Masood Bhalli and PP Dr. Pardeep will also be participating in the meeting.
17. Ulema Workshop which was held at Al – Mustafa Hospital Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi was successful. Plans for future Ulema Workshop discussed.
18. National Chair mentioned that all Rotarians must participate in the upcoming SNIDs (25^th– 28^th March) to make it successful.
19. Rotary Club Jacobabad to be revived by PDG Saleem Rao.
20. At the end National Chair Aziz Memon thanked all the participants.
