A Divisional Task Force Meeting was held in Hyderabad on 11 February 2017 at Commissioner Office Hyderabad. The meeting was chaired by Kazi Shahid Pervaiz, Commissioner Hyderabad. The meeting attended by Deputy Commissioners and District Health Officers of Hyderabad division, representatives of WHO, N-STOP, UNCEF. PP Masood Bhalli Zonal Coordinator Sindh, PP Dr. Pardeep Herchandani represented the Rotary International. The Chair welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of polio eradication He appreciated the efforts made by all district level officers to eradicate polio from their districts. However he showed his reservations on administrative gaps during the last campaign. A brief Review of January campaign 2017 was given by Dr. Santosh Kumar WHO. He showed UC wise performance and highlighted the gaps. The performance at Hyderabad and Dadu districts was significantly improved. It was informed that refusal clusters in Hyderabad have been covered and the same strategy will be used to cover refusals from other districts. PP Masood Bhalli said, there is a need to improve finger marking and quality of LQAs. He also said the number of “Not Reach Team’ needs to be improved. He added, we have to reduce our challenges and move forward with full zeal The issues of cold chain  came under discussion. The Chair informed that the Rotary is providing 10 Solar Refrigerators and 03 Deep Freezers to Sujawal District for improving cold chain in the district. The Chair stressed on micro plans updating and capacity development of Area Incharges, strengthen routine immunization and survillence.  The Chair concluded his remarks by stressing “ No report for No team”.  The meeting ended with vote of thanks to all participants.
